Leogurl...I know what you mean. My family is computer savvy as well, but I knew having a website would be cute, but a wast of time...Only beacuse most people want to hear the details and or once they knew they wanna go...they just wanna tell you and get it out the way. But like you said, just be glad you got the free website

I have the Same problem... prices seem so high righ now! Its not like I havn't been to Punta Cana, I know we should be able to get a decent price. This is one reason I chose here over another place. May I ask what price range you are aiming for? I was thinking $1600 tax in.... anyone else think this is reasonable or am I off base??

Hi, I have just received confirmation that our wedding has been booked for 26 April 2010 at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. I am sooooooooooo excited but a little stressed not knowing what to expect when we arrive etc. I have read a few reviews on this hotel which have settled my nerves a little but would love to receive more info about the hotel and weddings.

I am a 2010 Bride too I was going to get married this year but we decided to buy a house instead with the tax break/buyers market and all. I went to Cancun in July and did site visits the one that stuck out the most to me was the Marriot Casa Magna so I was in the process of booking it, like literrally had the papers drawn and everything to put money down but then the house was there and well I figure I could wait another year. So June 2010 is what I am aiming for, I currently do not have any site booked.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
