Prices for ROR

I'm also hoping to book ROR for November 2009, I was quoted a group rate of $1500 taxes in from Toronto and $1800 taxes in out of Montreal. I was also hoping to keep the cost as close to $1500 for our guests but this was the best price I could get, and I think it is pretty good for what you are getting as I really needed a place with a free wedding package to keep costs down. If anyone knows of another place that is comparable to ROR in terms of quality, offers a free wedding package and would be less than the quote I got above, please let me know!!!

I think that 1500 for ROR seems pretty good. In terms of overall costs I thin the RIU chain is one of your best bets in JA. Lots of the other resorts have extra costs that RIU does not hav, such as pricier wedding packages. That being siad if you are wanting tonnes of upgrades, then that can get pricy at the RIU too. It depends on what typr of wedding you want. Simple or extravagant?

I've moved my wedding to September and they price is now $1030 incl. tax per person from Toronto. Kids are $539. I'm still getting all the bonuses from Sunquest too!

Okay, NO JOKE, I just went to ROR in may 2009 and have plenty of pics if anyone needs some. We paid $85 a night per person. let me tell you how to save money.....google. Search. All you have to do is put the resort in the search engine and call places. I forgot which places we ended up using but the prices I just read are crazy. I called a bouple of place and got rates at $130 a night and trust me they will come down around november, trust me. I hope this helps and in the mean time I will find the place I used last time.

I used SellOffVacations in Sudbury ON and got a very good price. The price dropped shortly after booking and she gave us the new price. The new price is $1590 pp based on dbl occupancy for hotel room and $1650 pp based on dbl occupancy for ocean view rooms and $1700 pp based on dbl occupancy for junior suites.
