But you can start planning and reading about DWs!

BTW, I have seen a number of brides already booked with the venue and later finding out they are not going to be able to do this or to do that...

Good news is that you are in the right place to do it. Search about the venue you want to book to find out previous brides' experiences on the venue you want to book at.

In the mean time, welcome to the forum!!!

my wedding aint until June 2010, but i have already started planning. I too cant book anything until April, but have given family and friends information and estimate prices so that they can pay a deposit and we can book as soon as the new brochure comes out. I think its better to plan in advance for a DW so that people have enough time to pay for the holiday.

Welcome to the forum! I'm getting married July 3rd, 2010 and I just started to compose a binder with ideas, questions, and such I'm finding on here- I don't want to plan super early because you may change your mind after reviews and things- it's all about the process and I couldn't be more excited!

I am getting married in May 2010. I posted something similar. I decided to start with a budget. Therefore, I have to contact a few coordinators and they have given me price quotes and said its not too early. I also wanted to send out save the dates early because we are getting married in Italy and it is really expensive right now. Our dollar is not doing well.

I hope this helps. Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
