To Veil or not to Veil...

Recommended Posts

I was totally against it too but when you go to the bridal shops to try on dresses you feel like a bride in just the dress but as soon as they add the veil it completes it.  I'm so torn.

I was originally a yes on the veil, but then I watched a video of a DW where it was windy and the veil was blowing in everyone's face as the bride walked down the aisle - I just feel it would be too distracting to me and dangerous to those around me. I got a feathery hair flower instead.

i dont know what to do either... originally i was doing with a side sweep for my hair and then incorporating flowers throughout ...but now im torn between that or a cage veil with a flower and feather. although its a destination wedding i think i still want my FI to move something out of the way to kiss me lol lol

i never really thought i would end up being so traditional, i just thought i  would go add a little and be done with it, and well now im adding all this traditional stuff. and its making my head spin!!!!

I couldn't agree more! At first I thought "no way" for the veil... but then I start getting all nostalgic that if I don't wear one I'll never get the chance again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
