To Veil or not to Veil...

I had full intentions on wearing a veil. It was elbow length and my something borrowed. Sadly, it was WAY too windy and when I took it outside to test it, the silly thing nearly suffocated me! So I went sans veil. I loved it though. I had a flower in my hair and I felt like that was enough.

Wow Kelly...we are way too much alike!! Are you sure we're not related...or twins even!!?? LOL
I too was not going to wear a veil, but my friend convinced me to bring hers with me "just in case". I was planning on just putting it on for a few pics - but once I was dressed & ready to go I realized I wanted the veil. And I'm so glad I went with it - I love the look of it in pictures. Especially this one...I love how it flows behind me as we're dancing!

You guys are great! Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going with a veil. I may regret not having one. I'm gonna make it though, so if I don't use it I don't get mad about spending extra $. Here is the dress I bought. The model has a veil on with it. Maybe I will do the same style veil as the pic.

We are way too much alike. There are actually pictures of me from our wedding that I really like, but wish I still had my veil on! I really love it. Maybe even more than my dress.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
