I have been debating this myself but I think it is whatever makes you feel good.  You are the bride and you can do whatever you want for this day so take advantage of it

I have really been debating this myself.  I always pictured myself wearing a veil since I was a little kid.  When we decided to have a DW i kind of gave up on the idea of a veil because of the wind ect. But still I couldn't get the idea of wearing one of our my head so I purchased a beautiful veil from a past bride on here for super cheap.  I'm going to take it with me and see how the wind is on my wedding day and go from there.  If anything I'm only going to be wearing it for the ceremony and taking it off after that.

initially, i was anti-veil..then i got a birdcage veil to go with my short and sassy dress..it just seemed appropriate...THEN..i bought a WOW dress and was all, i don't need a veil...that is, until my mother started insisting on having me wear a veil...needless to say, i purchased a veil that was regularly $129.00 at David's Bridal about a week ago now..for $9.99!  yes, ladies...$9.99 for a cathedral length veil..check it out.

I ended up with a birdcage veil. The comb has 3 roses with swarovski crystals and I can detach the "veil" part and just have the flowers for my reception. My dress has lots of detail so I wanted to have something simple up top. :cool:

At first, I was against wearing a veil but I thought to myself when will I ever have chance to wear a veil except on my wedding day.  I dont think I will wear it pulled over my face when I walk down the aisle. I'm thinking just pulled  back.
