Hahahaa, Jac, you won't beleive what I was just about to do... I saw the title, but didn't notice you posted it and was going to say that "My friend Jackee mentioned "Denim" to me the other day, but I can't personally say since I haven't been out in the city in years!" hahahahaa, then I saw it was you.

Well there's Blu Martini....Club Heat...And even Lucky Strike. I know that's a bowling Alley, but it's also a club and could be alot of funn. But also pricey!!

If the weather is nice when your party is, you can head up Delaware Ave (AKA Columbus BLVD) and go to Cavannaughs Riverdeck...There is also Rock Lobster up there and probably more places that have opened since I was up there last :-)

Good Luck

carly thats funny, yeah the good ol' days, werent they great.

shannon we're more than likely going to go to center city. as far as the vibe, i just want somewhere where it wont be packed to the walls by 12 and somewhere that plays good music, like old school hip hop or funky loungie type stuff. i mean, it dont have to be specifically THAT but you know what i mean, somewhere fun so we can dance!

phillybride they are some good ideas, ill look into them too!!! thx

I live in center city so I think I might be able to help a little :)

Pearl-super cool place-upstairs plays fun music-Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder. It is on 19th and Chestnut

There is a new spot where the Monkey Bar use to be on Walnut in between 20th and 21st-a friend of mine just opened it and he was a promoted for a while and always had great places...

Public House is more a "bar"

I definitely know more bars rather than clubs. The Public House is definitely more of a bar. For my bachelorette party, we went to Swanky Bubbles just to get a few champagne drinks (very low-key, not a big party place but I wanted those drinks!), then Mad River which is a fun bar with a lot of dancing then we headed back to Delco. If you need bar suggestions, let me know. But like I said I don't know many club-y places.

I've personally never been there, but alot of the girls I work with go. Plus if it sucks we can always go down to Providence or Cuba Libre. I work at Tropicana so if we end up down that way, I can call a host to get us in free!

Oh we're going in March, so I'll make sure I post and let ya know how it was!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
