Hey! I have been getting so many great ideas from reading this board! I am glad I can post in it now!

 

My name is Martha (FI is Jay).

We just got engaged last Monday....been together 2 1/2 years. :heart:

We have plans to get married July (25th or 26th) 2008 in Cabo at RIU.

 

I look forward to getting to know you ladies!

Hi Martha! Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your engagement, you must be so excited. There are a couple of girls on this board who are waiting to get the big proposal so you are very lucky to be at the very early stages of your wedding planning. We are glad to have you as a member and please let us know how we can help you with the planning. I am also a Cabo bride and there tons more on here so please ask away. Btw the RIU is a beautiful place to be getting married at.

Thanks so much. I am sure I will have tons of questions! I have been going back and forth with having a DW or a wedding here....I am a control freak and need to know everything is in order. However, I am trying to relax and think of our wedding as a vacation for many of our guests who have never been out of Texas!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
