wedding packages for 50 people

Recommended Posts

I am having the hardest time choosing a resort based on 2 things.

1) offers wedding packages for 50 people

so far I hav only found the RIU palace (most only offer up to 20)

2) has an option of an outside private reception (either on a terrace, poolside or the beach)

I have found resorts that offer one of the 2 but NONE that offer both!

Is there someone out there that knows something I dont?

I walked into that one...

I mean does someone know of a resort in Riviera Maya that offers both of the things that I listed?

Any info would be helpful, TYIAsmile03.gif

Hey Danelle, I have changed my location because the Riu Palace didn't have the terrace, or beach reception that i wanted and they haven't been very helpful over the last 2 months. I have been looking into the Barcelo Palace and they offer for 50 people but it just cost a bit more. But they offer the private beach or terrace reception that you had mentioned. And plus they are way!!!! more helpful. they email back within that day! its great! Good luck!

Some resorts might advertise their wedding package for 20 people, but can accommodate more for an extra charge. For example at the Excellence, 20 people are included in the wedding package price but you can have more than that for an extra cost per head. They have an open foyer area (inside but but no windows) that can accommodate up to 80 people.

Have you tried asking places with terraces that you are interested in how large of a wedding they can handle?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
