OMFG!!! What have I done to myself?!?!?! Not even 4 months and I gain 20lbs?? No way my dress is going to fit me. No wonder my f'in zipper broke on my fave jeans. No wonder my jeans that WERE too big, fit snug. OMFG! I hurt my ankle yesterday but I will be at the gym today. I feel gross and have been putting off boudoir photos (that I won a free session for) and yeah. I am just in a slump. I like cupcakes sad.gif

I hear you!!! I don't know wtf is wrong with me lately either! Ever since I got my wisdom teeth out in Oct and sat on my butt for a week eating like crap, I have been just plain lazy. Luckily I've only gained 3 lbs, but still, I feel it's unacceptable as I was losing 1 lb per week before that. Don't get discouraged!! You still have enough time before your wedding to lose weight if you really commit to it.

I know this isn't an option for a lot of ladies in this economy, but if you can, get a PT. I've had one for almost a year and it makes losing weight so much more bearable. In the very least, see a nutritionist or someone that can help you come up with an eating plan that you can stick to and that works for you. We can do it!! I plan on losing another 20 lbs this year, so if you ever need someone to talk to or lean on, give me a shout or pm me!! smile03.gif

I think that it is hard to keep on yourself when it is cold and icky outside. Don't fret over the weight you have gained, just focus on the goal. You still have time to get where you want to be. Start eating healthy and once the weather starts to warm a bit, it will be more motivation for you. Good luck!

I feel the same way... I have managed to lose a few pounds, but I am seriously trying to watch everything I eat and go to the gym... I have always had a struggle with weight... Best advice? make and eating plan, and don't stray as much as you can. And workout! You will totally drop the weight!

Oh Bianca I hear you. All I can say is be good to yourself and eat healthy and if you really want to lose weight and are having dress anxiety- Stay away from the cupcakes. It may mean that you can't have them in the house. I can't have anything "bad" in the house or I WILL eat it.

You can do it!

I feel like I am in the same boat! My weight just keeps going up and down, up and down. I feel like it really isn't going anywhere my scale is just broken!!

I have been working out and eating much better. Not great but better. No fast food, no soda, smaller portions. Still I feel like nothing is happening. I have 4 months and 2 weeks until my big day! I really want to lose about 20lbs.

Don't worry you still have time to shed the extra pounds. I know weight scales may not be accurate so do stress out. You can do a detox to flush out water weight and also work out. Just think how fabulous your wedding will be when that time comes. Remember, your FI loves you for you and you will look gorgeous on your day :)

Ok... So I may have been a little exaggerated in my first post, but I was just in shock and had to tell someone. Fi just doesn't really get it :) I know I eat too much and I shouldn't have cupcakes and etc... I know I need to work out. But I'm not sure why I don't do it. I lack dedication. I know it needs to be done, but the motivation is not there for some reason. bah humbug (Is that what they say). I need to grow up and give up the cupcakes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
