HAIR/MAKEUP

I had a woman from outside the resort (Stacey) come in to do my hair and makeup. She works at another resort and she is FANTASTIC. She made my hair and makeup look so nice and natural. She also did the hair and makeup of some of the girls. She is very professional and she uses good quality makeup as well.

Some other people in our group used Renova Spa to do their hair and makeup. Their hair and makeup was good also, but I REALLY loved Stacey bunny_4.gif

Here's some pics of hair/makeup...

For the place cards, i used these Wedding Bubbles Bell Shaped bottles, it was really great because people were blowing bubbles everywhere and they came out really nice in the pictures. I just printed out names of people, then punched a hole on the top and tied the paper to the bottles.

smile03.gifYou look BEAUTIFUL!! I am so excited now for my own wedding! Your pics are GREAT! One more favor, sorry---do you have any pics of Sir Andrews? That is where we ae having our reception. And we only chose this place due to recommendations, I have no idea what it is like. Thanks again!

Sorry, i really don't have any pictures that show the restaurant. It has mirrors inside on the walls with wood moldings. It's nice on the inside.

The Steak House is not indoors competely, it's the same building that they use for lunch. It's inside a building with no windows so it's nice as well with the fresh air.

Sir Andrew was classified as a seafood place although it had other things on the menu. Rodizio is a brazilian place, but they cannot seat as many people at one time.

I have to say that people in our group who were steak people really enjoyed the Steak House (the shrimp is really good too). I don't really remember the food at Sir Andrew, we were only there once for the rehearsal dinner. The only thing is they gave us a time limit so some of our guests did not eat dessert because there was another big party waiting to come in. But that was our own fault because half of our guests came late to that dinner.

We used Cesar and Tanya Perez from Texas.

They were AMAZING. We could not have found better photographers.

They were so professional and really worked with us to make some great shots. We did 2 sessions with them. The actual day of the wedding and we did about a 2 hour shoot the day after the wedding just on the beach at Riu. We also got all our proofs and it hasn't even been a month since the wedding! They work very fast.

Let them know that Jane and Steven recommended them if you seek out their services smile29.gif

Here's some from the day after:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
