I found this starfish jewel on Ebay and was hoping everyone could vote and see if we should purchase it....let me know what you think....we want to get the "item" identified so we can make sure the first bride gets it in time. FYI the price on this is $17.50 including shipping. I believe they also sell this in a blue color too. If you have a better source or idea that would be great too!

Sarah - before you buy, I know some ladies have already purchased some. I'm not sure how many, but we might have enough as it is. I honestly don't know, but if we can save you $18 we might as well! :)

I found this place, but it's much cheaper to ship to Canada if there are any Canadian brides that want to start a starfish!

I have a bouquet jewel like that. I will donate it to the "fund" but I think it might be too hard to ship. It has a 6+ inch sharp wire that sticks out of it so you can jam it in the bouquet. It requires bubble wrap and a box to ship (at least that's how it came to me.) Plus, it is blue so if blue clashes w your colors there is no where to hide it like you can a pin.

                Thoughts?

They're all so pretty! I guess we just need to know how many we have and then we can figure out if we need more. I think we probably need at least 4

I honestly think a pin would work better for those that either can't use blue or already have a focal point on their bouquet. I have a bouquet ornament that will go on the stems, but I plan to put the starfish farther down and hold it. So, I'll be holding onto my BDW friends as I go...pretty corny, huh? lol
