Amanda! You looked beautiful! Your dress looks like it fits you perfectly. I love the flowers and the fact that the umbrella fit into your colour scheme :)

 

The picture of the two of you sitting at the swim up bar is great.

 

Is that your mom in the second picture down? In the blue and yellow dress?

 

I'm sorry the weather didn't cooperate but the best thing is that you came away married. Congratulations!

Yes...that's my beautiful mom!!

How we came into possession of the "perfect umbrella" is a pretty funny story! The hotel gave all the guests umbrellas...standard issue for the rooms. So I had this burgundy/red flowery type one..I was in the hair salon getting my hair done when I saw this "perfect" orange & white umbrella walk by! I sent my MOH out to get it - it turns out this couple was French & my MOH had to try & explain why we wanted the umbrella - and that the one we were trying to trade with them wasn't a dud! It was pretty funny!!

Wow.. you look absolutely gorgeous; I love your dress and the color palette.

 

The pic of you and your new hubby at the swim up bar is my favorite; when I show FI.. he is going to want one of us doing that!

 

I am sorry to hear the weather wasn't great and things weren't exactly like you planned... but, from looking at those pics everything looks perfect. bunny_4.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
