is anyone getting married in October 7-14 ....were down there for that week :) we have 15 total people.  I'm so excitied and i love reading reviews.

Were doing the BB package.. but b/c Sandy Bay closed we were upgrated to Negril ... We were suppost to have a 3 oclock wedding ..then when the resorts went together it changed to noon.  I really didn't want a noon wedding.. .and I tried to to talk to my WC from Miami- Dexter but he said the only time slot left was the twilight hour and that was a $600 tag... i went back and fourth withhim a few times and he wouldn't change it.  We booked with a TA so I talked to her about it and she called Beaches directly and got it changed for free! SO that was really excitied.  We are planning on doing the wedding on the Beach ...we upgraded to orange rose flowers with one pink one in the middle 15 stems total for (200.00)  We also added the (CHIC and Natural) ARCH with orange fabric through it..   I bought two bags of orange rose petals to put in the sand ( I was told I couldn't bring any from home).  $60.00 per bag.  I have heard that the beach party is the same night as our wedding 10-11-12.  First we were going to go to the Seville to eat... but I really want to see the beach party.  So when we get down there (1 week) I am going to see if we can get a table set up for the beach party and just eat the food in the buffet that they have there.  Maybe see if we can do some candles and tiki torches around our table???   I paid for an additional table $100, as we will have 15  total people.  They said 8 fit at a table! I have had good luck with most of my planning and emails come back at a decent time.  I had a small mishap and didnt hear from my guy for a few weeks and called my TA and he was out of town and i didn't know that.  EVERYTHING I have read said that the people make ur night awesome :) .... i have read a lot of reviews that say just relax.

The only thing im worried about is that I paid $110 to dye some amazing shoes orange.. and I really want to wear them in the sand..but theyre heals... I'll just have to practice when we get there.... !!!

any pictures and advice will be great.  I hoping the beach party plays out great for entertainment while were there for the wedding.

Hello ladies, my wedding is getting close - July 5, 2013 and I'm a bit confused about Beaches Negril policies, did anyone of you had to pay for everything including reception and guest passes 60 days before arrival? I understand paying for the rooms but reception and guest passes? What if some guests won't make it and cancel at the last moment? What if I decide I want different set up, or dj instead of the band. My TA told me I had to pay in full for everything 60 days prior. I'll be calling Chloe to confirm, but I still want to know what you guys had to do.

I just got back from my wedding at Beaches Negril.  It was amazing and perfect.  Rest assured, you have nothing to worry about.  Everything is seemless once you get there.  Our wedding was 4/6/13.  I miss Beaches Negril so much.  Everything was better than I even expected.  Here is a review of the resort I wrote, http://steppingintosuburbia.blogspot.com/2013/04/beaches-negril-review.html.

I will be writing a post soon on my wedding and including pictures.

Hello everyone...

I see that most of the ladies are now married...and therefore, it's quite quiet here.

Well, I'm going to be Beaches Negril bride.

We have picked the date and the location but have not made the reservation yet. Hopefully they will have the date available as it's on a weekday. :) (7/15/2014(

I'm just checking things out on the details..

I'm still going through the thread and trying to learn some stuff...

:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
