Hi everyone, so much great information here!  I am about to book our wedding in April, 2013 at Beaches Negril.  I have been trying to gather as much pricing information as possible before we put our deposit down.  We will have between 50-80 guests.  We want a private reception and I received all the pricing on that.  Only thing is that I read somewhere that to buy a dance floor for the outside private reception (which I think is the only option,) it costs money, does anyone know how much that is?  I did not ask about that, just assumed it was included.

Also, we are trying to keep our cost as low as possible.  I am going to stick with the basic beautiful beginnings package.  I read on one of these posts that they chose the beautiful beginnings package, but also chose another decorative package.  This confuses me because I thought beautiful beginnings is all you need?  I am fine with just the basica package and colors it comes with, will I have to pay more for something else?

Thanks so much!

Karin

What I read was that for the BB package each additional table it is a $100.00, if you choose a theme each additional table is $500.00!!!! The package only includes ONE table. I received my package for the flowers and the are OUTRAGES!! I also heard that you are not aloud to use another florist. But I talk to my pre-WC in June and I will ask...

Ali cat, we got our digital photos on CD.  They aren't the best quality and don't print very well using some of the cheaper printers at home (CVS, Snapfish, etc).  If you want untouched photos, raw and unedited  go with Beaches photography.  Our photog was great, but the cameras and pixel usage just aren't up to par with what most of us are used to.

Also, I saw someone asked about photos of beutiful beginnings photos.  I did the white flowers and can send you photos if you PM me.  I'd have to shuffle through my files to find some.  I also have photos of our buffet. we did the luncheon buffet.

Hey ladies!!! I am getting married at Beaches Negril July, 16, 2012 and had some questions re: the videographer. Did anyone just purchase the Raw video? Same with the Photography, can you and did anyone purchase just all the prints? So difficult to decide!! Thank you! Ashley

Hi Ashley,

I was married at Beaches Negril in September.  I did not buy the video but did buy photos.  All photos you purchase will be raw, there are no editing done to the photography.  You don't have to buy a package before hand, we saw and chose which ones we wanted and prior to the ceremony secured that our photogrpaher would be there for ceremony and the beginning of the reception. We had a lot to choose from.  Im sure you can buy the raw footage as once you are there and talking to poeple, they are more flexible than yo'd think.

Beaches Negril is great!!  The lazy river and waterslides are so much fun.  Make sure to bring your bug spray!

I'm getting married at beaches on 10-11-12... I love reading all these posts.  Ive been doing it for months. We leave in a week and I'm still trying to get my head around everything.

Okay our wedding is at 5pm... we have the 1/2 hour reception... it so happens that the beach night is the same night.  I'm trying to figure out if we all want to do pictures and go to the seville @ 6:30ish... but i want to see the beach party too.  When you said someone gave you candles and tiki torces is that something you think thye would do? then is there a LARGE variety of food or is it pretty slim.  I haven't decided what exactly I want to do about the "food" situation! Could you give me some insights .... i know i wont purchace anything b/c its All inclusive .... we did the BB package but upgraded  for flowers and an arch and fabric on the beach!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
