My OOT Bags~ the big hits and the things that weren't used

Recommended Posts

We went to the $ store yesterday and loaded up on puzzle books ($1), hand sanititizer (3/$1 - .33), mini notepads (4/$1 - .25), tissue packets (8/$1 - .13) and sunscreen ($1). I have heard on some other threads that sunscreen in the summer weddings can really be appreciated if someone forgot or left theirs at the pool. Sunscreen in Mexico cost $26/bottle. A friend just came back and had to buy some while she was there. Since it was only a $1, I figured it was worth having in there. Many of my guests are going for a week.

I am definitely buying personalized mugs to add in too! Thanks for all the tips.

We ended up just using aqua paper gift bags that I bought at Michael's for 37 cents each and stuck a logo sticker on the front. They were really easy to pack and then people wouldn't feel badly about throwing them out.

I bought immodium caplets and pepto tablets. The way they are packaged made it easy to separate them out but still have them be in their original packaging, if that makes sense. So, the pills weren't loose. I just wrote out the directions on a clear label and stuck them to business cards I had leftover from a Vista print order from other wedding stuff. That way everyone had the directions too.

Ha, I know! I should've known better. lol

Kelly,

Thanks! That makes perfect sense!! I will definately use that idea. Now to find tylenol or something of the sort. Thank you so much :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
