My OOT Bags~ the big hits and the things that weren't used

Recommended Posts

We ordered them from the person that we ordered the wedding invitiatons through and I don't know what company she uses. However, check out this link. http://www.crazyaboutcups.com/personalized-stadium-cups-16-or-22-oz.html I think their cups are the same price and you can get lids and straws if you want for cheap and they have way better clip art available than the company we ordered from. I think we could have saved ourselves the $45 we spent for the art if we would have used this company. We used a 22 oz stadium cup.

Love this thread! It has been soo helpful!

Sorry if this is a repeat question but I've been searching the thread and can't find a clear answer. Those that put bottled water in your OOT bags, how did you get it to your destination? Did you ship it? Buy it there? Specifically someplace like Mexico I have noo idea what the best way is to include this in my OOT bags - any ideas??

thank you! will think about going to Costco or Walmart since I heard there may be one near Cancun which is closer to my resort..

for those of you looking at Vistaprint, just happened to go on there today and everything is 50% and free shipping over $50 :)

I got the Dollar Tree Tumblers too. The price is right, but they do scratch/crack easily. We had to individually examine each one when buying them. I'm not expecting them to last forever, but hopefully they'll do for the 3-7 days that each guest uses them!

Anyway... for packing, I also bought some plain white tissue paper from Dollar Tree. Because they scratch easy, I didn't want to stack them directly one on top of the other. Instead, I put a third of a sheet of tissue paper between each cup, to protect both sides as they stack. This will make them easier to pull apart as well. I also wrapped the lids and straws in tissue paper. I stacked about 9 cups high, and they fit perfectly into my suitcase height-wise. I have 30 and they barely take up any space!

Excellent idea on the stacking! Thanks!

Thanks for the Tip!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
