have you found water proof paper?
I am also curious to know about waterproof labels...because that's exactly what we have in mind but we want to make sure it will withstand the heat / water / LOTS of use. We're thinking about Bubba Kegs (midsize) with a clear label with our monogram on it. This way, people can also peel the logo off after the trip and use the bubba kegs...

Are we on the same page with all of this? Please keep me posted...thanks :)

I ordered my stickers for my mugs from zazzle. They are however white, not clear. I would buy some cheap clear labels and test them out.

I had a hard time brain storming for ideas for the guys, too. In the end.....all of the guests got almost exactly the same OOT bags....(i.e. thank you letter, map, big-day timeline, local maps, custom-labeled water bottles, mini-sunscreen packets, snacks

except...
the ladies got tropical smelling lip balms and a cute pashmina I purchased locally
and
the boys got mini-liquor bottles, flavor-less lip balms, and flip flops

I actually just went thru the stuff we have and realized I forgot a few things. First of all, we did one bag per party so if a couple was there, they got one bag with stuff for both. If it was a single guy or girl, they got one bag with just stuff for them. So the things that we gave:

pashminas

flip flops for everyone

and ball caps or visors

custom beer cozy's

votives (beach theme)

sunscreen

dramamine (boat to our wedding)

advil

water bottles (with our logo)

deck of cards

spanish book

brochure (vistaprint)

Probably a few more odds and ends that I am forgetting. People loved them though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
