My OOT Bags~ the big hits and the things that weren't used

Recommended Posts

One of my best friends gave out personalized shot glasses at her wedding a few years ago. I loved it! Still use it all the time. So now i'm gonna add them to my OOT bag. Great for after parties in the rooms!

For those of you in Canada - and i'm sure the US has this too, I took some tips from here and we got some 12 oz metal water bottles at the dollar store. They are $1.25 each and then we will personalize them with gold/silver metallic pens. We also picked up hand sanitizer (3 for $1) and travel sized Kleenex (6 for $1). We're still working on other items but its a start.

AWESOME Thread, ladies!

I have only just started thinking about OOTs...and what the heck to put in them! I love the idea of doing a personalized travel mug (as I understand that they are great to take to the bar/beach/everywhere), and the who can forget the head-aches meds and Band-Aids?!

Great information!

I recently attended a Dirty Thirty party and the very thoughtful husband created these themed t-shirts for the posse. The guys got T-shirts and the girls got tank tops. I asked how he was able to produce such a small amount with appropriate sizes. He said he used Iron-On transfer paper from Office Depot.

I picked up one package and purchased plain shirts from Old Navy. They were a hit for the bridal party and groomsmen. I was able to make a special shirts for my FIL's and my niece.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
