I did one per couple or one per single or family, with the goodies inside varying depending on how many people it was for. Then some people (flower girl, ring bearer, groom) got their own bag. I figure usually a couple only takes one beach bag to the beach anyway (my bags were beach bags).

This thread is so useful - I wish I would have gone through it all before! We are only 9 says from leaving. :(

And now I am panicked, because, while I kept receipts for the big items (like the bubba kegs), I ordered so much online and got so much at dollar stores I am not sure where those receipts are.

I guess I have to start looking!

I only have a few bags though - 7 OOT bags (we distributed one before leaving), two big straw bags for my mom and MOH, and a couple gift bags for my dad and FI's best man. And everything will be done up and so on... hopefully we do not have any problems!

Thanks Jennifer8913 and agm04!  That is what I was thinking one bag per room.  I'm just going to do gift bags too, not beach bags.  Unfortunately, beach bags just aren't in the budget.  My younger siblings are going to deliver the bags, so I have been trying to figure out a way to make the bags ahead of time and have them distributed the the correct people.  Maybe names on the tags on the bags, I'm not sure.  Definitely do not want it to take up too much time.  :-)

I had business cards made at Vistaprint - just a cute design that had "We're so glad you're here! Love, Amanda and Chris" at the bottom, and enough space between the design and the printing to write each person's name in sharpie. Was very easy! we just tied them on the handles.

We are only doing one bag for room, but a separate one for kids (we only have 7 kids coming).

Some people used our bags, some did not. Some used a few items from our "for better or for worse" mini bag, which was small, but most did not. No one used our digital flip camera, but that was because we did not give them memory cards (duh!) for them. We had a few small items (like pens and sticky notes), and people liked our welcome/activity passport books. The biggest hit was DEFINITELY the bubba kegs!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
