Any past brides that got married in Dominican Rep. Punta Cana? I am debating on including bug spray/wipes and want to know the bug situation. I personally LOATHE creepy crawlies so I would appreciate it, but if its non existent then I would rather spend money elsewhere.
Wellthen02, my FI and I did a site visit this past March, bugs were not an issue at all. I'd say save your money.

I did get a pretty good deal though through www.shopbubba.com.  They only real down-side was the duty feeonce they arrived.  It's pretty great though because you are able to order all sorts of sizes, colours and types.  They do have a bulk discount as well with the coupon codes online depending on how much money you spend...  http://www.shopbubba.com/t-bulk.aspx .  I was able to get different colours to distinguish family and friend and make it easier for people to sharing rooms.     Goodluck ladies!

I may have already said this here (sorry if I'm repeating!) but the slate gray tumblers on this site are $4.99 each and the discounts still apply.  Happy shopping to everyone!

This thread is awesome! So helpful!

For any Canadian brides I found some double walled cups at Winners/Marshall's on clearance for 2.50$ each. I was able to get 15 but depending on how many you need it might be worth a try. Here's an example of the types of cups i'm talking about:

I'm looking into getting our logo printed on them now!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
