not decor...just gifts.  Each person can claim $300 worth of goods :)

I'm going through this too...I don't know if I want to put them all in their individual zip-locks before packing them (I'm worried about the pressure on the plane causing leaks of the anti-bacterial soaps etc) or to leave them how they were shipped to me and assemble them when I get there. I just think that'll take time I'd rather be on the beach to assemble 50 hangover kits! Lol

I flew American and I was able to bring my wedding dress AND a carry on bag!  Plus, with American you can check two bags each for FREE!

I brought bags to individually package hangover kits when we got to Mexico, but then didn't want to spend the time, so my FI and I just did it assembly line style and dropped all of the "goodies" from our hang over kit into the individual OOT bags.  I don't think anyone minded.  It wasn't as "cute" but whatever ;)

I actually just put all of my Oh Sh*t Kits together in their ziploc bags this weekend. I was going to wrap them carefully in my checked baggage with my other OOT bag stuff and decor and hope for the best, but now you have me nervous about possible explosions! I figure I want to do as little as possible when I'm actually at the resort and I will already have a decent amount of assembly to do as far as the bags are concerned since I'll need to throw everything together and that is one less thing I'll have to worry about. So maybe I'll leave as-is and bring extra ziploc bags in case of any spills.

I also had first planned to distribute the bags at our welcome bonfire Friday night, but it now seems like a good amount of people will be there as early as Wednesday and I want people to have an opportunity to use the goodies inside for as long as possible, so I might arrange to give each bag to each person whenever I first see them or pay the fee to have the resort deliver them to rooms ($4/room, which in my opinion is crazy.)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
