Wedding colors????

Recommended Posts

I really want to have three colors but i just dont if that is to much. The three colors i'm thinking about is Aqua/teal Bright/hot Pink and Tropical Orange. BM flowers will most likely be orange and pink and stems will be wrapped in the Aqua color. The isla will have flower petals all thru it and i dont know if i should do all three just one or two. And im trying to see what i can do with all three with the chairs and tables at the dinner.... Please tell me if you think this is to much or wont look good. You arent going to hurt my feelings. Just need a little help.

I was kind-of wondering the same thing-- thinking red, orange, and some form of teal. I was thinking the teal would be used very mildly. Not sure what or how if would be used yet. I found a few pictures with these colors (plus bright pink) and it looked ok. It will be interesting to see what others think.

I would stick with the blue/teal for fabrics and the pinks/oranges for flowers. This is the most natural to me, since there aren't any aqua flowers out there.

Maybe to blue chair sashes and colored flower petals.

Try searching the forum for different or threads about colors. That has been a popular color combo so I'm sure you can find lots of inspiration.

You can also search the Knot and Brides.com galleries by color.

I think it would be beautiful... you can make any colors work as long as you use them right and I agree with the fabrics being teal and florals being orange/pink... here are a couple of pics i found:

Those colours would look really nice together I think. My flowers were reds and oranges and my dress was white with teal. The BM dresses were teal and they carried red and orange flowers and they looked great. I don't see that the pink would look any different with the teal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
