    Hey girls!

I've been mulling over this in my head for the last few days and have decided to seek your wise opinions on the subject.

My dress, which is not classified specifically as a "destination" wedding dress, has a rather long train. I think the train would be lovely for a church wedding but I'm not sure I'm comfortable having it down for a destination wedding ceremony, like it's too formal.

I was thinking I may just keep it bustled the entire day (including the ceremony). If I do this, then I won't have to worry about my mom or step-dad accidentally stepping on it when we walk down the aisle too, which is a nice bonus lol. I don't know, what would or have you done in this situation?

I've included pics to help you guys see what I mean.

Personally I really like it with the bustle! Of course I'm no expert!
I'm sure we will get plenty of feedback from the girls.....

      Your dress is BeAuTiFuL!!! =)

It is a destination wedding and the "tradition" about bustling up your dress for the reception does NOT apply. It looks good the way you want it. :)

I think it's beautiful. My dress had a pretty long train. I wore it down for the ceremony then bustled it. I kept it bustled for our AHR.

You can also have it cut off if you are worried it is too long. I personally think wedding dresses need trains, LOL When will you ever get a chance to wear one otherwise?

I love it.. I personally wouldn't cut it off. Maybe do like Erin said and leave it down for the ceremony and bustle it up after.

I would bustle it, that way you have the option. You may change your mind when you get there and regret having it cut off.

That was my original plan...so I might still do that.

Thanks for your opinions girls, they mean a lot to me!! I guess I'll have to think on it some more, I do love how it looks with the bustle up though. I would shorten the train except that I'm already paying $300 to get the bust fixed and the bustle made, so that brings my total dress cost to $1,900. It's starting to hurt my wallet a little lol.
