Hey girls,

I took my invites (square and heavy) to the post office and they said it was going to be $0.96 to send each one out.

I'm fine with that, but there are no stamps for that amount and the combo of stamps to reach $0.96 are not pretty unless I go over by $0.15 - $0.20 for each invite.

Has anyone found custom stamps that you can put whatever amount you want to on them?

My mom and I spent so much time putting the darn things together I don't want to ruin the look with a random stamp of the rockies and two turquoise necklace stamps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I sort of had a similar problem when I sent mine...they weren't square but a bit on the heavy side.

I didnt have the custom stamps (from zazzle) and I agree that the combo they wanted to give me just totally clashed with my pretty invites!

Right now they have those heart wedding stamps...I ended up putting one of each of the below (which put me over the amount that I needed by like $0.15) but in the end I was ok with it

Product: Wedding Hearts (2 oz)

Product: Wedding Hearts (1 oz)

these didn't completley match the way i wanted them to on my envelopes but I just let it go...at least the wedding hearts were better than like the liberty bell ones they tried to give me!

Thanks for your help ladies! I went with two of the 2oz or $0.59 stamps. Like you mentioned they don't match perfect, but it's better than the Liberty Bell or the Rockies. The envelope gets thrown away right away.

If it comes to $0.96, there are $1 stamps you can buy which means you would only go over by 4 cents, but you only have to put on 1 stamp for each envelope. FH has a business and before we bought an envelope meter, we had to hand stamp everything so I know the $1 stamps exists. You can even order them online directly from the USPS website if your local post office doesn't have them.

Another thing you can consider is to find a place that meters envelopes and have them meter it for you. Then you just have the meter stamp on the envelope. Hope that helps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
