hitting a wall

I wish I was done with all the planning already. At least the important things are done, so I can sit back and be lazy for a while.

I know some people say that they miss the planning after their wedding is done and over, but I honestly can't imagine me saying that.

sooo it's been 3 weeks since i've done any hardcore wedding planning. i've been on the forum and done a few little tiny tasks but otherwise had a good break from it. i feel SO much better and more importantly excited again. the wedding doesn't feel like a burden, i'm more excited than i have been before cuz i have less than 3 months til we leave. and that feeling will just grow the closer it gets

if any of you reach this point a break is definitely needed. that and express to your FI how much more support and help you want. i know we like to think we're super women and can do it all ourselves but they really are there to help us.

just ordered my travel mugs, got FI to plan our honeymoon and we're booked for turkey for 2 weeks. woot! found a couple possibilities for my hot backless dress for my AHR. get to do my dress fitting at the end of this month, super excited about that. wedding planning - definitely didn't miss it and will be thrilled when it's all over but it's not my nemesis anymore

thanks for the support ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
