Sarah those look amazing! I just bought the pocketfolders and the envelopes from cardsandpockets and I plan on using cardstock from my local scrapbooking store. I thought it would save some $, we'll see. Anyways, I love the band and the initial idea you used for the outside of the invite - how did you do that and how is it held together? What did you use for the S? Oh so many questions...

Christa and I both used Perfetto, which is 6x6 square when folded.

I definitely found paper cheaper than on their website, but it is convenient to order it all at the same time. I used a font called Goudy Initialen (you can download at dafont.com http://www.dafont.com/goudy-initialen.font). It's just a capital S, printed on platinum vellum, then layered on champagne and crimson cardstock, held together with miniature brads. Make sure when you print on vellum that you let it dry for at least an hour before trying to cut it out.

Oh man.... I've been looking at invitations all flippin' day. There are WAY too many options out there!! I have so many ideas and I know I need to pick JUST ONE. I even took a trip to Micheals for a paper hunt. That store is so dangerous for me, i could easily spend a fortune.

I think I'm going to order these pocket folds. They are nice and affordable. I'm going to get the bronze metalic. And make a paper belly (what they call that outer wrap thingy).

I got a question for you gals though what did you use for envelopes? i know there are such things as lined envelopes and non-lined (honestly I don't know the difference). Or did you get the regular white envelopes? I just need a little direction on what to do for envelopes... please

I bought metallic champagne envelopes for the invitation itself, and metallic crimson envelopes for the RSVP cards. They came from Discount Wedding Invitations, Vellum Paper, Vellum Envelopes, Card Stock Source - Paperandmore.com. They have several different sizes of envelopes, and you can order samples. When you buy the actual envelopes, they come in lots of 50, but they have a great selection of colors and sizes. Just make sure to measure your invites and make your RSVP insert the correct size!

I bought my envelopes (both the outer one and the RSVP one) from Cards & Pockets just so I knew they'd fit and I wouldn't have to worry about it. I got the outer envelope in metallic white and I'm quite happy with it. The RSVP envelope doesn't come in metallic, but it's simple and fits perfectly so I'm happy. They were really cheap too.

Any suggestions for getting the RSVP insert to fit into the RSVP envelope? Or am I good if I use your template?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
