OMG - this is almost my exact situation, but I'll see your 9 years and raise you my 15 :) We also got engaged in January and he really wanted April, but there was no way I was waiting until 2010 to get married! So November it is, for the same reasons you gave.

Thanks Meg!!

It is a silly thing we do a work, we started it last year with the first to get married and took pics and then did it for me and then we will do it for Britt who is on the forum now and then (she gets married in Jan in RM)

Great job Erika. Your invites look amazing! I think it's so cute that you took a pic of you mailing them. :)

I just sent off my envelopes today to the calligrapher. So excited to get them back. Thanks, Jess for the recommendation. I'm using Eleanor too. I love her handwriting and she's so reasonable.

I'll share pics once they are ready.

ERika you are too cute :) I love the pics! Your invites look great - I bet you are so excited to have that done... I know I will be :)

So question girls - how are you planning OOT bags if you are doing them?? Even all the family members we know are going haven't booked with the TA so I have no solid number for anything! I don't want to be bossy but I have sh*t to do, haha!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
