I am getting married Nov 25th in Punta Cana. I sent save the dates back in Nov 2008 I made them myself by using reply cards from an invitation kit (because they had matching envelopes they worked out perfectly) and I added magnets to the backs. We sent out our actual invitations with all the booking information the last week of January. Everyone has til April 30th to put down deposits. We have 20 so far. I have my dress, my photographer booked (he's coming from Canada), all the bridesmaids outfits, the resort booked for the wedding, the wedding favours ordered. I still have to put some thought into the guys attire, get the paperwork translated, decide between real touch flowers or going down their for fresh ones..., lose some weight...weddings are a lot of work and $$ but I am really liking doing it

I want the 26th but it's too close to our departure date...but I am not American The reason I chose this week was because of the US holiday because I am in sales and its a slow week for me since I sell to the US...

Hello all

I too am a November bride.

We are getting married on November 26 at El Dorado Royale.

We actually got engaged at El Dorado Seaside in January and were so impressed with the service that we wanted to have our wedding at an El Dorado resort as well.

So far I have ordered my dress, ordered the MOH's dress, bought the invitations (DIY from Michaels), ordered the Save the date postcards from Vista Print (100 for free, just pay for shipping), and bought my shoes. Obviously I'm way behind some of you!

I've also started with some of my details with the resort. I am booking Claudia Rodriguez for photography.

I'm looking forward to finalizing more of the details soon!
