I didn't realize it but I think I'm the first bride in the November thread. We don't have a Nov 1st do we? I can't believe it's all going to be over this time next week and I'll be married!!!!

Well I figured out make-up with my mom yesterday, found out my grandmother had passed down a small, elegant beaded clutch that I will be using instead of buying one. She was one of those very fashionable, traditional officer's wives in the 40's so it's not only a piece of my family history but something from a different generation all together. I wish I had met her but it's cool to be able to have a piece of her there with me.

We leave tomorrow. Brandon is really cranky-I think he's just stressed with work and ready for vacation but he's being a real grump so I'm just sort of staying out of his way this week.

I still have some things to do. I found out last night it's my photographer's birthday this weekend so I'm going to go to a local store and get something from "Idaho". We have this wonderful huckleberry jelly that a local woman makes so I might pick up some of that. Brandon suggested I get her a potato but since I'm a native Idahoan I don't think that joke is particularly funny anymore.... So I'm going to try and find something today. I also need to get something for my date twin. She is getting married earlier in the day and we've been conversing through email the last couple months.

I'm so anxious. And excited. And aprehensive. And totally not focused on work at all. I don't know what I was thinking scheduling client meetings today. I'm pretty much going to rush through them and leave as soon as I can. Thank goodness I should be done around 1:00 so only a couple more hours. I think I might have to treat myself to sushi for lunch to calm down lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
