Vikki, that letter was so sweet. :)

Ashley, post a picture so we can see the shirts. I bet only you will notice, thats just how we are!

So my dress came in today....ell....not a perfect fit. I will say when I first put it on, I was in love. :) The boob area wasnt right though. It felt like the back was a little loose, and there was a ton of extra material in the front.

I went to the bra store to find a bra to see if that made much of a difference. The problem was the front is really low cut, really low...which is odd because its not in the picture. So I thought maybe it needs alterations. Well the girls there finally found a bra that worked with the dress but it was small. It held me up but wasnt the best bra. They talked me into it.Which now Im regretting because I cant return it. When I take the straps off it doesnt support me at all.

On the way home I passed this alterations place that a friend told me about so I stopped in to see what they thought. She had me put on the dress, and she started pinning up the length. And than she started to mess with the top. It was weird because although there was extra material in the boobs...it still didnt come up all the way on the sides, so I had a lot of armpit fat sticking out. My most insecure part of my body! So the woman said, how about we take it from a halter to regular shoulder straps. She pulled it back and everything just filled out better. And the sides came up where they should. I orginally thought the halter balanced it out, but it didnt look bad the way she did it either. I was more secure with it the way she showed it. She said she thought doing that also gave me more of an hourglass shape, and gave me tasteful clevage. LOL

She than said she thought I should ditch the bra because it wasnt doing much for me, and tape my boobs. She than proceeded to grab my boob and show me how to tape them. Yeah, akward. Good thing I had a breast reduction and Im use to people grabbing my boobs like that. LOL I dont know if I agree with taping my boobs....they are to big for that. They would be flopping around. I figure with the way shes altering it than I can probably find a bra that works.

She will have it ready for me tomorrow at 6 :)

Keeping my fingers crossed. Nervously.

The dress is really cute, especially with my shoes. And I really do love the pink crinoline :)

Meissa I'm glad it worked out. Im interested in seeing the dress as a non halter thou.

I think a reduction is in my near future. I really don't want one but the constant back pain i have from carrying these things around is a bit much. My gma got a reduction ab 15 yrs ago. My aunt really needs one she has this growth in her stomach from her breast or something (don't get me lying but i know it has something to do with the weight of her breast long story lol) anyway she refuses to get the reduction that she needs.

If I find my cam I will take a pic of the shirts for you all tomm. The guy was so nice he gave us five extra shirts.

Ok so I am sending back ab 60% of the makeup i purchased for the wedding and am ordering about another $100 more. The best thing ab avon is that if I try on something and don't like it I can return it. So I am def exercising that ability with my wedding makeup. I hope I like the stuff im ordering bc at this point I'll have to pay extra shipping if I need some more stuff (reg orders go in every other week so)...

Ashley, getting a breast reduction was the BEST decision I could of ever made. I was a FF, and now am a D/DD. I had the worse back pain and shoulder pain. And the very next day in the hospital I could feel a difference. Like weight was lifted right off my shoulders!

That is nice you can return it with Avon. I sell lia sophia jewelry and have been feeling guilty for not wearing lia sophia for my wedding. But they dont have anything pearl really, which is what I wanted to wear.

Tonight is my bachelorette party. WOOT! WOOT! Its raining like cats and dogs and is suppose to all night into tomorrow. BOOHOO! We are started at a brewery for dinner, and than bar hopping. No set plan really....lol

We went to a brewery for my stagette and it was so much fun! Can't wait to hear how the rest of your night goes!

Did I mention that I got the dreaded, 'Do you know where your fiance is?' call last weekend, on the night of his bachelor party?? lmao. Every bride-to-be's worst nightmare. He showed up at the house 2 hours later, having walked halfway across the city. What a guy.

Melissa, I'm so excited to see your dress!!!

I have my legal wedding tonight! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I'm so excited! Working til 4, then getting ready and heading to Camrose, where my nana and papa live. They are acting as our witnesses. Out for dinner afterward, then to a pub to meet some friends. It's a dingy ol' pub populated by seniors and drunks, where we used to spend a lot of time playing shuffleboard and enjoying long, drunken stories from the seniors when Wes was in University there. Significant, and perfect for us.

Got my bridesmaid dresses back! They are SO perfect, I'm totally thrilled. In the end it was worth getting them custom made, to get just what I wanted. I'll take some pics this weekend and try to figure out how to post them on Monday... any tips??

It's FRIDAY!! Woo hoo! We leave in 8 days for our trip and I've got a packed weekend planned.

I'm leaving work early today to go meet my new nephew!! Yippie!!

Then tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut and coloured. In the evening I'm hosting a girls night with a wedding theme, of course.

Sunday, I get to pick up my dress!! Sooo excited for that. Then I'm going home and starting to pack up more stuff and finish out AHR invites that have to go out next Friday night.

Soooo close I'm getting out of control giddy!

Congrats Kiera

Melissa I feel you I'm a 36G. Large breast run in my family so my bra size isn't a shocker but I'm thinking a D would be good lol. One of my friends is like and H and is getting a reduction right after we come back from the wedding cruise. They will only let her go down to a D I believe.

Annie if I were you I'd post the pic thru Photobucket. I have a Shutterfly and Photobucket acct but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to post the pics from Shutterfly. There's a thread on her under the How Tos that shows you how to post pics and then you can practice on that thread i will try to find the link for you.

Ok Ladies what are you getting your FI as a wedding present besides BD Books. I'm getting my FI a digital camera/camcorder. We had decided not to give gifts but I found something I wanted to give him. I don't want him to feel bad if he doesn't get me something so I guess I'll tell him i got him something. I found a really nice "To My Groom" card in Hallmark today. I also got my grandparents a card. However I couldn't get one for my mother, bc she's not married so i will just give her a blank card with a personal note from me. Now I just have to get gifts and I'll be done.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
