Hey ladies I am so over organizing that I don't have that everything will fall into place woe. My feeling is that It's so over planned that I won't be able to enjoy it bc I've rehearsed everything in my mind so many times Surprisingly enuf I'm not freaking out yet. I guess bc everything's working out okay so far. I mean don't get me wrong we have had SO many issues, that I'm just starting to roll with the punches. We got engaged on 1.1.09 and this has proven to be the most stressful and tiring 9 months of my life. I can't wait to get into married life and just be able to take a deep breathe you know (hahaha as if it will be that easy).

p.s. Is anyone just now starting to freak out about this whole "when you get there everything will fall into place" thing!!! I want it to fall into place now!!!
Welcome girl!! I am a DT bride too... a little later on in the month than you. My ceremony time is unfortunately 12:00... so so I feel you on that! I hate that we can't really plan reception location and all that until a month out! That's when I will start going crazy I think...

So Im a little disappointed. My bachelorette party is October 23rd. I have 3 coworkers that are invited. 1 of them I go to breakfast and lunch with everyday...actually have been doing that for almost 4 years now. I would have considered her one of my closests work friends. Shes been so nice to have during my planning process, very supportive! Well she was making suggestions on things for my bachelorette party, and how if any help was needed she'd love to help. Well I told her the date we picked last week (invites havent gone out yet). So yesterday morning at breakfast we were talking about the unpaid time off we have to take in the next two months. She than went on about how she was so excited to be going to Cedar Point on October 23rd. I said, oh no, your going to miss my bachelorette party. Long awkard silence. Than she said, sorry about that..and I was looking forward to it. I dont remember you telling me the date. I than changed the subject.

This morning she says, your not mad are you? I said, of course not. Just a little disappointed. She said well thats the only weekend I can go to Cedar Point and I havent gone yet this year. I have all these other things every other weekend and she starts naming them. Things you could do anytime of the year really. I than ask her who shes going with and its people she doesnt seem to fond of. At least thats how she talks about them all the time.

I dont know. My feelings were a little hurt. I guess because this is the only event Im having prewedding back here that brings all my friends together. And she coud of gone to Cedar Point anytime, but my bachelorette party is only one time. Maybe Im just being bratty.

Hang in there, Sgt. Pepperette! Don't sweat the small stuff. I had my stagette last weekend, and it was also missing a few key people. But quite frankly, I had an amazing time regardless! And for the amount of quality time I actually got to spend with each girl, it's hard to be upset with those who didn't make it a priority. In retrospect, it wouldn't have been worth them changing their plans just to watch me making an ass of myself, only to get to enjoy brief snippets of conversation throughout the evening. And maybe she doesn't feel comfortable going out with you and friends she doesn't know. I gave a few of my friends, who didn't know anyone else, the option of bringing their own friend. The more the merrier, right? :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
