It was raining in the morning and then off and on in the afternoon so we couldn't have the wedding on the beach like we were supposed to because of the sound equipment etc. The beach looked destroyed anyways... but we got married at 3pm and it cleared up early enough for us to take pics and get married in the semi-sun lol. It was seriously windy though, which is why I had to have my hair completely up, which wasn't what I had wanted, but it turned out! It was such a great time! Oh, and then everyone was joking about the fact that I picked the song November Rain for our document signing and how I "asked for it" lol.

What time did you get married and how did your day go?
Hey Nicole -

I'm getting married next weekend at the Azul Sensatori! Let me know if you have any tips!

I'm just glad it wasn't pouring for your wedding and so glad you had a wonderful time!

Geralyn, its a 5 week wait for the pictures. UGH! But Im trying to round up some non pro ones :)

So I think I already am having some post wedding blues. Im in such a funk, and so easily irrated. I should be thankful that we found 3 people to take shifts to watch our 3 dogs while we were gone right? Without them we would of had to kennell them which would have been VERY expensive.

We did throw them some cash and bought each of them something to bring back. But that doesnt compare to how much it would have cost to kennell them.

So why am I getting so pissy over how they left a ton of dishes in the sink for me? And the one guy used my car and blew out my tire, so I had to go yesterday and get a new tire.

I need to get over myself already.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
