Im just getting really anxious and a little nervous.

I was really surprised with the place though. Its better than I expected. :) I think trying to figure out the lighting at night as been a little stressful to. We dont have everything so its hard to really see it. I know it will all come together. I just have to remember to breathe. LOL

I wonder if Vikki is feeling just like this....lol
You have no idea lol! I was so there.

Congratulations girl! You're a Mrs. now too.

Our day was wonderful, thanks everyone for the congrats. It went by so quickly but everything seemed to be good. All our family is now gone so it's just us at the resort.

Best wishes to all of you with wedding dates in the next week. I may or may not be back on before then. We're just waiting to go down to dinner and I had a minute to jump on.

I had to take off work today just to get some things done. I can't beleive we leave next Wednesday. I am finishing up our place cards and removing stickers from the playing cards. I packed my 1st suitcase!!!

Quick question - how did you pack your steins(stadium cups)?
The cups stand up perfectly in a suitcase. So I packed mine that way. I think I only got about 22 cups in there though so I have to find places for the other ones. Then I filled the cups up with all the extra goodies I had and placed the OOT bags on top. It worked out pretty well and then I'll have an extra empty suitcase to put my dress in on the way home.

Hey guys

I am taking my gown in a wedding gown bag that i got off of ebay. It is also wrapped in 2 plastic bags inside the garment bag.

OMG I had the bachelorette party of the year last night. Jennifer (since I know you live in Balto). I was surprised into a limo ride to this hole in the wall club call the 2 o'clock club. It was Tuesday night male stripper night (my 1st stripper show). OMG we had so much fun. My FI paid for the limo and my mom organized everything. I was like VIP at the club. There were friends and family members with me. And we had the time of our lives. I had at least 8 drinks. I couldn't even walk at one point lol. The best fun I've ever had.

Got my nails and toes done today and I get my hair done tomm and we leave Friday morning YAY!!!!!

Check with your airline. We are flying Continental and they allow you to bring your wedding dress on and don't count it against you as a carry on. So, basically you can bring a purse, a carry on bag, and your dress.

Vikki, Congrats!! I can't wait to see your photos! Enjoy the rest of your stay! It's honeymoonin' time!!

Kiera, I'm thinking about you! Hope your wedding today goes just as planned, and you savour every moment!

The garment suitcase I bought is quite large, and I was able to also fit in FI's wedding clothes, 2 of the bm dresses and my accessories, so I doubt they won't call it my 'carry on', but I went and bought a jumbo purse (thank god that's the style these days), which has made all the difference!

If they won't allow you your dress AND a carry on, Angela, you may want to try the XXL purse approach!

Today is my last day of work! WOOT! Crossing my fingers that my boss will let me go early! Then hom for my pedi, final bits of packing and then to the hotel for the night! One of FI's gm and his wife got a room close to the airport, so we'll be dropping off my car at my parents and then bunking in with them. Which means last night was the last in my bed! YAY!!

At the thrift store, for $4.99. lol. Actually, I've seen quite a few at the thrift shops, it appears they don't get much use these days! It has a hanger clasp on one end, you lay the dress flat (wasn't quite long enough, but I figure the dress will need to be steamed regardless), then zip it closed, Then the bag folds in half and clasps closed, so it's suitcase sized. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
