Melissa and Erika, I'm soo excited for you guys!!!

I spend the whole weekend shopping in LA for the trip then I came home and started packing. Also, I finally got my dress back and the alterations came out perfect. It looks so nice on!!!

I'm meeting with my photographer tomorrow and spending the rest of the week putting together my favor tags, menus, welcome letters, and programs. There is still so much to do!!!

Okay, 2 days out ladies and Im starting to have really high anxiety. About everything, mostly the dress, hair, etc.

Today we have a full schedule. The caterer is going to be here at 10, than go by and see the cake lady, than go get marriage license, pick up liquor, pick up food for welcome bbq (the grill is one of those park anciet grills so that should be interesting..), and than find a place to get a pedicure/manicure.

Im just getting really anxious and a little nervous.

I was really surprised with the place though. Its better than I expected. :) I think trying to figure out the lighting at night as been a little stressful to. We dont have everything so its hard to really see it. I know it will all come together. I just have to remember to breathe. LOL

I wonder if Vikki is feeling just like this....lol

Hang in there, Melissa! All that matters is that the two of you say your vows, anything extra is a bonus! I'm sure it will all work out fine, just tackle things one at a time, and try not to focus on all of it together. That should help keep you from feeling overwhelmed.

Put my dress on yesterday with the headpeice and jewelry. Very exciting! Glad I did, realized the boob stickers aren't going to work the way I'd planned, but I may use them in combo with some pads, just to keep the ladies in place (my dress is rather low cut).

Also bought enough poppies for everyone and made up some favor tags to poke them through so they aren't a hazard. November 11th is my wedding day, and also Canada's Rememberance Day, so I figured we ought to honor the occasion.

Now, just to finish packing. Get the waxing and pedi done. Hit the tanning bad a couple more times...

Wow. 4 more sleeps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
