Mel- great gift from you sis.

 

I love the dress and the lace pattern is georgeous and will be very photogenic.

 

I totally agree with everyone that one you are all done up hair and make up it will be amazing.

 

If there was one change that I think could happen, I think the sweet heart neckline could be softened. Like if you took the very top and folded it under just a hair to make it a little less round , just to see what it looked like. That might make the shape blend a little better with the lace pattern. or if it makes no difference then you know it is just right the way it is.

 

JPitts- yes I am starting to get nervous. I had a really tough time sleeping last night.

Melissa, I totally agree with everyone that the dress looks great! I looked at the pictures before I read what you wrote and was surprised you didn't like it.

It doesn't look like a replica at all and I absolutely adore the way the lace and the fabric cross.

it honestly does look great on you.

Honey you look amazing! That dress will be so beautiful outside in the daylight. What I think I like best though is how awesome your tatoos look with it. I'm not sure why but for some reason I just really like the combination of the dress and tats :-)

I agree with Erika, when you have the hem done play around with the bodice a little bit and see if softening that line helps you feel better about it.

Either way you will be a princess.

I also feel like I'm forgetting something. I think it's because I have so many half finished projects on the go. Hopefully everything I've been waiting on will show up this week and I can be done.

 

On a good note, the lady who did my BD shoot sent me the link to my pics. They turned out way better than I ever thought! I'm so glad I decided to go ahead with this. I will post a few pics as soon as I can.

 

Off to work on my favour tags...

Someone was looking for a cheap favor idea. My favors were cheap and i like em bc they're handmade. I think I said this be4 lol but we ordered sanddollars from ebay and hand wrote our names and wedding date sprayed them with glitter and made them Christmas ornaments. We also put a poem connecting sanddollars to the Christmas Story and voila a great cheap favor. I'll try to attach pictures but I don't think it's very bright.Oh also they favor tags on the gift boxes were made by Ana De Roux Click the image to open in full size.

 

Also here are pics of the barefoot sandals first are mine then the girls. I took those pics from the etsy site but I'll take my own pic for my planning thread.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
