Any suggestions? Trying to think outside the box here, hoping to do something original.
I had an early bach party because my friends live all over the place - so we met in Toronto for a weekend in July when everyone was free. I get you on the bumping and grinding with 20 year olds....we bumped and grinded with each other...we went for pole dancing lessons! lol. It was SOOOO much fun! (and really hard)!

swocanadianbride, I was at a wedding in the gazebo at the Gran BahiaTulum and it was beautiful. Actually, I did not see any other weddings the whole time we were there so I can't comment on other locations. The Gazebo is very secluded and there would be no lookie-loos.

The gazebo is the picture you see in all the Gran Bahia pictures but if I can find one I will send to you.

Good luck and enjoy!

They look fantastic. If the pictures seem bad, they they must be really amazing. Nice work! Your guests will definitely appreciate them.

Thanks everyone :) I wish we would of went a little more daring with the actual pocketfold color. The fit was so tight. I wanted to matte the inserts but not enough room!

We had such a fiasco with our printer to. If you custom the size of paper it will not print borderless! So we created those borders on everything to get around it. I liked the border look to.

Okay next project is up! LOL

So I was hoping I could get some insight from you girls. Im trying to figure out our reception. We should have about 25-30 guests, and our reception is at this beach house. The property is mostly sand. We are bringing in tables and chairs for dinner, and than wondered if we should make a dance floor?

We didnt really want to rent anything to bring in a dancefloor, figured people could just dance in the sand. But will people dance with that small attendance?

We were going to just do a ipod dj type thing. Real laid back. But now Im wondering do we need a dj?

I cant picture how this is going to pan out.....

Do I need someone to get things flowing?

Great invites Melissa!

Dance floors are expensive - do you think you need one? with 25-30 people they will prob dance on the sand. We are having 80 and decided to splurge on the dance floor with the sand...but we know a lot of people will be dancing it up

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
