Calling all November 2009 Brides!

Recommended Posts

My sister is planning a low key night in. Asian theme with a little spa thrown in on the side - lots of appies (sushi, etc) and massages and mani/pedi's. I'm well past the drunk bride to be at the bar with a dickie sipper taped to her hand :)

We only have 39 ppl attending our wedding so I'm having a big bridal shower around halloween. And the theme will be a masquerade ball (ok grown and sexy costume party lol)...

But fortunately for us with our cruise we will be in San Juan PR the night before the wedding (like from 5pm-12a) so we will get to do the barhopping bach party in PR lol.

I'm planning on having two bach parties!!! One of course being Vegas which isn't as exciting since I'm go so often but it will be fun to go with a couple of my close girlfriends!! They are insisting we go to Thunder from Down Under but that is not really my thing.

Second party will be here at home with a group of friends. I'm not sure what the details are since my MOH is planning it but I'm sure that it will involve a lot of drinking. However, I told them I did not want a male entertainer.

I'm planning on registering at one of the local shops for lingerie so that should be fun.

I really like your monogram. Do you mind if I asked where did you get it from?

Thanks,
Jess

Ahhhhh, I went looking for my daughter's flower girl dress yesterday, and found nothing for her. But I bought myself another dress! Yikes. I was looking for a TTD dress, and fell in love with one completely different from my first dress. FI thinks I'm crazy! I shouldn't have even told him. They sold me on this broach too, which I did not expect to like, but it is sparkly and has a little cornflower blue in it, so I have my "something blue". Fun!

Definitely to to Thunder Down Under! I went for my friend's bach party and I didn't think it would be fun, but it really was. It's so hilarious and they really play it up. I totally recommend!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
