We were doing a bathing suit scene and I dont think I can pull that off now!

I know my FI would never expect this, and he always tells me how beautiful I am no matter what size I am. I wish I could just get over it already!
This is pretty much why I'm passing on BD pics for now. I'm SO self concious and am at almost my highest weight and dont feel comfortable at all! FI & I workout really consistently and I'm totally pushing myself. Trying to lose around 25-30 before the wedding and if I can do that any time a little before then I'll do BD...if not I can always make it an anniversary present, right!?

Yay 4 months!!! 3 months seems so intimidating for some reason. I'm ready for it to be here but then again I don't want it to be over yet!!!

I can't even fathom making a done/to do list...it'll probably be longer than I want it to be. We never set a budget so it'll be interesting to go back after the fact and see how much we actually spent. We were kind of like" let's just do it...within reason!"

Josie, I think it'll make a great anniversary present. I think he'll be even more surprised then :)

BD pictures are so much fun. A good photographer WILL make you look and feel like a million bucks if you're willing to be open and creative and you may find it helps you feel better about yourself. Remember our FI's don't see us through our eyes (thank god!). All the flaws you think you see he's blind to and I know he will love the result!

But if thinking about doing them adds stress right now don't feel like you *have* to do them. There's always the 1 year, 5 year, ect..... Being a bride is supposed to be fun so try to enjoy.

Hi all -- we sent out our first "wave" of invitations, and are starting to get responses. There are a lot of people who I knew wouldn't come who aren't -- I can't help but feel a little disappointed, even though I KNEW they weren't going to come (i.e. family members with newborns).

Has anyone else experienced this? Also, did I send them out too early? I thought since this is destination, more time is better (Nov 14th, 2009). Oh well -- thanks for the vent! :-)

Yeah I felt the same way. I guess even though I knew they werent coming a part of me still had hope.blush2.gif The one person who I thought would come and isnt is my FBIL. My fiance is having a really hard time dealing with this (they are really close) and I try to sugarcoat it but its not working.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
