Calling all November 2009 Brides!

Oh BTW - awesome dresses girls, they are so gorgeous! I just got mine (on ebay...) from a 2 dress bride and got it for $250!!! I was so excited, especially since it was way more than that when I tried it on, and I don't need alterations smile29.gif I am thinking about getting it altered into a sweetheart neckline though... what do you think?

I am wanting to get my info together to send out my formal invitations however I don't know what time the cocktail hour will be or the reception, I only know the wedding ceremony time. Is is alright to put on the invitations TBA or following ceremony or something like that? I won't know this information until September probably. I could probably just put the times on the welcome letter I will be giving to each guest when they arrive at the hotel...Any thoughts on this?

Lisa- I think that's a great idea, putting the times on the welcome letter. You can address on your invitations the important times (ceremony, reception) and include a note that formal details or some sort of "agenda" will be waiting for them when they arrive!

JetsBride- I put on mine " cocktails and reception to follow after" or something like that.

Joanne- I love the scalloped lace on the top of that dress, but I also love sweetheart necklines. I would have to see it to know if it looked right?? KWIM??

Joann, love the dress, it's beautiful!! I'm usually a fan of the sweetheart neckline, but I really like this one as is. I think it 'fits' with the look of the dress.

And 6 months to go...gee, I remember thinking before I had all the time in the world...my TA told me today that deposits for flights by July 15th would probably be best! Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend (finishing the invites!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
