Welcome newbies!

I woke up last night at 4:30 in a panic because I feel like I'm running behind on all my wedding planning. I have the dress, I did STDs, I have a website...i'm working with my WC on reception/ceremony details. But i'm very stressed about invitations. I don't want to pull the trigger too early and have people forget, but I don't want to wait too long.

I was going to send out at end of June and ask for RSVPs by mid-August. Am I off?

What are you all doing? I know there are other threads specifically about this, but I'd like to hear what the Nov '09 brides are doing as everyone seems to have a different take on what is best.

Thanks!

I'm with MegaShay, I'm sending them out (hopefully) at the beginning of June with a September 1 RSVP deadline. That still leaves some room for the slow pokes before I have to have my final numbers in.

On a different note, I got my TTD dress today! I bought it from a fellow BDW bride, milejilo. It's great!

Time is flying! When we got engaged in January, it felt like forever until November! Now, it's just over 6 months!!!

I am doing the exact same... with the RSVP as 09-01! We must think alike!

And make sure you guys check out Jess' invites, they are rockin! bunny_4.gif http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t42484

Maybe I should move the RSVP date up??
I did Sept 1 because I want to be able to plan (and I know I will have the stragglers anyway).... also, I don't want them to lose the invite and RSVP if I give them a lot of time :) I have some winners, haha....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
