Ohh, congrats on the mugs project and the invites and the engagement shoot!!

You Nov gals have been busy.

I need a swift kick in ths a$$ to get going. I told myself I would make the invites in April, have not even started.

I chicken out on the anthropolgie dresses for now. I just was not sold on the green color in person.

I'll prolly get FI to help me either put the monograms on the paper or insert the paper into the mugs. He was really helpful tying ribbon for my homemade soaps lol (he'd die if he knew I told you all he helps me with the wedding DIY projects haha).
Can we see a picture!?? We love pictures!!! Plus where did you get your mugs?

Hey ladies,

We're doing our engagement pics this weekend - luckily it's going to be nice outside since we're doing them in a park. Any advice on good colors to wear? We're going to be casual chic (whatever that means) but I don't want us to "match".

Other than that, here's what I've gotten done so far:

Picked resort - 50 people booked already!

Chose venue at resort for welcome party, rehearsal dinner and ceremony

Picked and bought dress

Picked jewelry

Picked bridesmaid dress (most have purchased)

Registered for gifts

Sent STD's in January

Ordered invitations and my mom is doing the calligraphy

Chose groom's suit and groomsmen outfits

Purchased several bridesmaid gifts

Picked MOTB gift

Bachelorette/shower scheduled

Had our wedding logo design completed (by a fellow BDW bride!)

Need to:

Choose venue at hotel for reception

Choose flowers and cake decor

Purchase groom's and groomsmen attire

Finish bridesmaid gift selection

Buy bridal jewelry

And whatever else is on my reminder list!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
