Jodi,

Thanks for all the info on Beaches! We are getting married there on April 28th at 3PM.

Kathleen, the new coordinator for Boscobel is Barbie at Ext 4882 and she is great to work with.

We have 14 guests total, including ourselves ... so, here are our plans, and Jodi if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free (please oh please) to add them ..

We are just using the basic package ... barefoot on the beach with a heart drawn in the sand and yellow petals (bringing them with) scattered in the heart ... my sister is my MOH, my stepsons will give me away and stand beside their Dad (my FIL will sign the paperwork on my FI's side as the boys aren't old enough) ... not sure about doing the reception thing ... with only 14 of us, what are your thoughts? Could we all just go to one restaurant together? This is a second wedding for both of us, and we don't want any fuss or stress or bother (my mother will provide enought of that for any event - but that's a whole separate issue).

Did you use the basic bouquet or did you upgrade?

Thanks so much,

Danielle

You will be so happy you chose Beaches Boscobel! I loved every single thing about my wedding there :-)

With only 14 people, I would just make reservations at one of the restaurants there. You shouldn't have any problem. We recommend the Venetian, we liked it better than the Arizona and you can't take kids to Eleanors.

I brought my own flowers with me (they aren't real flowers) just to save money. But... the standard bouquet they gave me would have worked fine... it was very pretty :-)

Enjoy...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
