Well I have been searching all over trying to find a ring for FI. I work in the jewelry industry, so I kept showing him wholesale catalogs and websites with rings I thought he would like. Heck, I even took him to a wholesale jewelry show a few months ago so he could see some in person and try them on...all to luke warm results.

 

Well he was on EBay looking for computer parts and he found his dream ring. It is a modified knock off of a Chanel Ultra ring. It has a few style differences from the Chanel ones...but I think it is so cool.

 

We ordered it off EBay direct from the manufacturer, so it is being custom made. I didn't get to use my wholesale connections (couldn't find anyone in Seattle that had the ring)...but we still got a good deal on it.

 

It is Tungsten and black ceramic. I can't wait to see it in person

We bought it on EBay. There are 3 sellers with the same ring, but the place we bought it from had the best rating and communication. (He responded to my questions multiple times very quickly...and he is in Hong Kong!)

 

Just search on ceramic tungsten ring to see the others...but here is the listing we bought from:

Update - well the ring was delivered today!! Pretty quickly esp. as it came all the way from Hong Kong.

 

It is so cool. It is not solid like most other rings, but moves and folds up like a watch band or bicycle chain. The black ceramic part is very similar to hematite in color and the tungsten part is a smokey silver color. Because it moves it is very comfortable to wear. It has a good weight to it, but it isn't too heavy.

 

I'm pretty critical when it comes to jewelry quality, as it's my job...and I am very happy with this one.

oh kris! i love it! joel made a very good choice. doug would really dig a ring like that, it would blend right in with his jeep rebuliding hobby!

 

omg i cant believe its almost your wedding! remember our meetup last year? it seems like it was soooo long ago :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
