Hi! My fiance and I are getting married at Paradise Cove in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Lakeside weddings and wedding receptions Orlando Florida - Paradise Cove Orlando

It's ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and has a great beachy feel. Also, there's soo much around there for our families and friends to do-- like Disney, Universal, and Sea World.

Good luck with the planning!!!cheesy.gif

Were still trying to decide where to hold the ceremony(beach) and since we plan to cruise out of Miami im looking for something in south Florida. Were only inviting parents and siblings(and my sis 2 kids) and our kids, so a total of 15 ppl. Were looking for a restaurant to eat at afterwards that wont break our budget lol. Any advice on hotels or restaurants let me know. Weve cruised out of Miami before but I usually get our hotel off of priceline.

Hey Everybody!! Anyone looking into having a wedding on the Gulf Coast should look into Pensacola Beach, FL!!! I am from this area and it has so many hotels and beach condos/houses in many price ranges and 1 new boutique hotel being built as I type (Hotel Indigo). One great quality is that it is not over-developed with 100's of High rises, and actual has building restrictions on the Island which keeps it small island charm in place :). With everything being so close it is easy for OOT guest to find something without breaking the budget to attend your wedding! The main beach area is full of restaurants and bars with in comfortable walking distances, as well as a local trolley service that can be rented to transport your wedding party anywhere on the beach privately or you can take it for free on the weekends during peak season. The Hilton Pensacola Beach has beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to hold weddings and receptions. If you want something more private, you could always rent a beach house on the beach to hold your ceremony, then have you party at the house after! If you are looking to be close to hotels, restaurants, bars, as well as the sugar white beaches of the Gulf Coast, then look into P'Cola Beach. Most places will be very reasonable in the off season as far as prices. One month that is extremely price anywhere on the beach is July, there is lot going on on the beach (4th, Blue Angel Airshow :), Bushwacker fest, so it will be pricey! The local airport is PNS and there are plenty of hotels in town for even less!!! Anyone needed info just PM me!!!

PS I am getting Married in Key West, though I love Pensacola, Destin, and the Gulf Coast, we want a smaller and more intimate wedding with our closest friends and Family :), so a destination wedding only seems fit!

My mom and I just got back from a planning trip to Key West and it was better than I could have imagined :-) There is so much to do, it is so laid back, everyone is friendly and helpful and it is a blast. That would be my recommendation. I have pictures if you want me to send you some.

There is a lot to do in Ft Lauderdale!!

Have you checkedo out Sarasotta? If you are getting married on a beach I would def say that's the place to go in Florida - their water is just as clear as Aruba and they are known for their powdery white sand.

Other than that Tampa is a good time too and of course Miami.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
