Just call and tell Kim if you are not getting the answers that you need from Kerry. I called and emailed her and told on Kerry, within 1 hours Kerry finally got back to my email. Granted she did not answer all of my questions & only attached the same wedding outline she sends to everyone, but at least she got back to me!

Also, My fiance talked to Kim today becasue people are calling to book and keep asking her a million questions so they had to sort stuff out. She ended up sending us the updated menus for all of the restaurants with the new pricing. If you ladies would like to see them just PM me your email and I will forward it. Since it's like 6 menus, I don't want to post all of them! The food sounds really good but kind of pricey. Like breakfast is $12 before drinks!!! I would love to get a copy of the drink pricing....actually I will email her now and ask about that.

Hey ladies!

Same story with me - contacted Miriam threatening to pull out and I get two follow up emails from Kerry as well as an email from Randy, the owner.

Sparkles, I'm PMing you as well - that would be great to have the menu info ahead of time! I'm getting so excited!

Oh, and by the way, Kerry told me that there would be no need to bring in a dance floor as usually the terrace of Annie's Restaurant will serve as the dance space.

What I am concerned about is the ending of the grand opening rates on Feb. 19th - I'm debating going ahead and putting down a deposit for the 5 remaining hotel rooms because I want to make sure my guests can get the grand opening rates.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hugs,

Claudette

Thank you so much for the menu---the prices really aren't that much. I was expecting way worse. I pay more for food when I visit New York City. So that was a relief when I saw that menu. My guests should have no trouble finding something on that menu to eat also---it pretty much covers all the bases.

I've contacted the florists based on the information on this site to get price quotes on several of their centerpieces as well as bouquets. I might not use the samples on the page but I'll get a ball park figure of what to expect price wise. The arrangements on their page are fabulous by the way---I'm excited about using them to do my flowers.

I've also finally got my mind around the color scheme of our wedding.

It seriously was so difficult deciding on the colors. We are doing Coral with Apple Green and Gold as the accent colors. I'm so excited!

I've also found the cake I want--I think.

Everything is starting to work out now.

I'm thinking that they either don't keep them on property and rent them when necessary or the fee is really a set-up fee and not really a fee for the actual table/chairs.

The fee is pretty small anyways---$10 a table, $3 a chair for the cover and sash.

I wonder what the chairs look like without the cover?

Taovandel - You don't need to register for snapfish. Just use the email address (gritty56@yahoo.com) and the password (power) to sign in. I asked Oneika today to email me a picture of the chairs at MDV. Not sure if MDC uses the same one but i can forward it to you when she emails me back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
