No Invitations for Bridal Party?

Recommended Posts

Once again I have a question about this wedding I'm in on Valentines Day. I thought it was strange that I didn't get an invite yet so I asked her when she was sending them? She told me she did weeks ago. I told her I didn't get one and she said she was told the wedding party isn't supposed to get one.

Am I just being anal but WTF. Why wouldn't we. Those are keepsakes for us too. Plus now I don't want to be the ass to ask her what time the wedding starts.

Are you not suppposed to send to your bridal party?

Hmmm - when I was a bridesmaid I have always got an invitation - to me and guest (b4 I was a MRS.). So does she expect that you are bringing your FI? I mean are you going to have to ask her that too?? I googled the question and the response was YES you should send wedding invitations to the bridal party - weird. Anyways good luck! I guess you should just call her and ask her??

LOL LOL, I hope the groom knows when to be there too!! That conversation I had with her was via text. When I told her I thought we were she said her wedding coordinator told her no because my fi and I are already on list.

Now that I think about it she sent a text to me a couple weeks ago asking me his full name (now I'm assuming she was sending out to her whole bridal party asking who they were bringing and their full name) I'm so over this wedding already, actually from the beginning!!

Very bizarre. The bridal party should definitely get an invite. Has she been keeping you up to date on activities, locations and times?

I had several guests tell me it was ok not to send them an invite (BM's and guests) to save $$ but I sent them anyway.

I hope she didn't follow this mis-guided rule of thumb for anything else in her wedding, lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
