Now, Is there anything you need to do beforehand?
I think I read you shouldn't shave for 2 weeks before you go in for a Brazilian Wax? ANybody know of anything else in particular?
Wear loose clothes!!! You're not going to want anything touching you for at least 3-4 hours!! I would suggest loose cotton pants & no undies!!

Hey! So I'm very sad because I scheduled my first ever Brazilian for Thursday, February 12 (perfect timing, right before Valentine's Day!), and found out last night that i'm going to be on my period then! censored.gif And I read somewhere that obviously you shouldn't do it during that time of the month, especially becaues if you did it would hurt more. So I really wanted to have it done by then though....and I'm wondering how long the hair needs to be in order to be waxable? Is it 1/4 inch? I'm wondering because I want to reschedule for this weekend, if possible, but have only stopped shaving for less than a week and I don't know if it will be enough growth by then. What do you ladies think? blush2.gif

It depends on how fast your hair grows, but I would say that it won't be long enough - sorryhuh.gif I don't think you should chance not getting a proper wax & still have to go through all the discomfort! But maybe if you're going to your regular waxer she would be honest with you & tell you that it's not long enough & come back in a week or two. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
