Nope, I plan to ditch the shoes for pics on the beach. Also, my ceremony is not on the beach, but at the gazebo on solid ground.

Jessalyn, the ebay shoes arrived and are great- you're right they're very comfortable. I guess I was totally not thinking about the fact that I'll have a mariachi band playing while I walk- no, I don't think people will hear my shoes!

I still think the third pair is my favorite, but I think it's just not going to work. My dress will be too short. I'm going to take a pair of 3" heels with me when I go back to pick up my dress on Friday.

I voted #2. I think they are perfect for a DW! And I hardly think anyone, or you for that matter, will hear the shells clinking when you're walking down the isle. Everyone will be focused on your tiny waist and you'll be so oblivious to everything and everyone besides your hubby :))

I voted number one. I agree that three just will not work. And although I LOVE number two, I just don't think that's what you will want to wear for your wedding day. If you can pull it off, then go for it... but I have decided that I need something with straps to hold my ankle in. I have three reasons.

1. Beach, kicking sand up my skirt... but that doesn't apply to you

2. The walkways. Everyone that I have seen is NOT perfectly smooth and I just know I'll be a clutz and stumble and if I'm not strapped in, I'll roll my ankle.

3. I'm going to be a nervous reck! I'll probably be shaking all over, which once again leads to my stumbling, falling off of heel comment.

K I really love all of them pair # 3 is what I wanted for myself and they are gorgeous but im thinking they might be a little uncomfortable

so I voted for #1 just because they are beautiful shoes and if your dress is the perfect length with them and there comfy than i think you should go with them....or just wear all 3 pairs....#1 for the ceremony, #2 for when your taking pics on the beach and #3 for PARTY TIME!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
