Hi everyone! I am getting married 7/11/09 and have no idea where it will be...which makes me a little anxious about the big day. I want to find a resort (possibly all-inclusive) that is quiet, has beach side weddings available for about 20 guests and is near a casino. I would prefer to be at a resort that is away from downtown/urban areas. My online research has overwhelmed me...there are too many beautiful places to pick from! My budget is about 3k for the wedding itself. Your advice and suggestions would be so helpful! :)

Welcome! I felt the same way. My first suggestion is to get a Travel Agent. They will be able to assist in narrowing down your choices. I made a list on a spreadsheet of my top priorities and then eliminated resorts from there. For instance I wanted a resort with nice beach beds, and a beach I could actually enjoy. So this helped me cross out a lot of the resorts on my list. I also included price for my FI and I as well as guests. Then I went back and read reviews on trip advisor and on here to see what others had to say about the resort. In the end I picked a new resort that hasn't opened yet.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
